Food Vendor Information
Falcon Ridge begins selection of new food vendors in February based on the types of vendors currently operating and needs to be filled. Decisions are made in April if we have an opening.
Selections tend towards the gourmet side, also towards healthy, low fat, vegetarian options, much of it ethnic such as Japanese, Mexican, Caribbean, Thai, middle eastern. Of course, there are some fun foods and desserts in the mix too.
To apply, please send info regarding your operation. Include the type of foods and/or beverages you propose to sell with approximate prices, booth dimensions including space needed behind the booth, a photo of your booth, a list of venues you have served recently and full contact information. Our Vendor Coordinator, Leslie Sullivan Sachs, will contact you if we have an opening.
All vendors at FRFF are independent contractors responsible for any licenses, health permits, sales tax collection, liability insurance etc incurred in normal operation of their booths. Costs for food vending are $50 set up charge and 20% of gross sales. The festival utilizes a food ticket system. Our staff sells all food tickets. Food Vendors accept tickets ONLY as payment for food and turn them in to the festival for payment.
Please note, glass is NOT allowed on our site and styrofoam is discouraged since we cannot recycle this material. All beverages must be served in cups, plastic bottles or cans. Preference will be given to vendors who support local farmers and sustainable agriculture.
