Hey, how about some love for us NYC Metro folk!!! All these benefit shows for the Boston area, and none for New York. Come on people, get on it!!! :)

All kidding aside, my family would be there in a heartbeat for a Falcon Ridge benefit in the Big Apple region. Perhaps some NY-based Falcon Ridge regulars would fit the bill?
Ahhh, we don't need you Big Apple folks....we got Northampton, and after all, that's what it's all about.

To whom are you directing this post?? Can you be more specific as to the matter of your concern??

....and don't forget that there are quite a few attendees who come from farther afield - quite a few greater-DC area FRFF peeps. I'd imagine that the Brindleys might have a go at a benefit, we'll see.

I have debated about whether to post anything thing again to this Forum and given what I have seen over the last few months I have pretty much written off the FRFF Forum. I love FRFF...I love everything about it, except this Forum. When I first heard about the forum I was so excited. I thought what a great idea...assuming all of us, being FRFF fans, had to be of like mind! I have never been so disappointed. I have particiapated in other Forums and never have i seen the bickering and the negativity that I have seen in this forum. I will still support FRFF and everything that it stands for (at least in my mind) but I, for one, am done with this Forum.

sharongp524;
If you have spent ANY time on the web, you must know that every board has trolls. I've ignored ours for a long time now and am amused at times by his antics. (Sometimes he even appears civil). You must choose to do what you feel is best for you but look around, the Falcon Ridge board does have positive aspects.
Hope to see you again.

We’ve been patient long enough, and frankly I’ve had it. This forum, like the festival, should be a fun place to meet people in a cordial and friendly manner. One ill mannered member has soured the experience for me for too long. Personal attacks, snide remarks, constant questioning management's operations skills, callousness, rudeness and just plain boorishness have become too much. The straw that broke it for me was in response to sharongp524’s

When TFF has reformed (not likely) or banished, I hope one of my friends will email me with news that it is safe to return.

Until then, fare thee well.

don't flee because of one troll. that is probably what he wants. you have been a positive and informed contributor to the forum, and we should not lose people like you because of one fool.

Sorry, I would have to agree with Lew 100% on this one.

It's indicative of your conceitedness that you think Lew is not sincere in what he said.

Although you, TFF, made some interesting comments and remarks, overall in my opinion you have been a negative aspect to this forum.

Personally, I take nothing for granted, such as common decency, when viewing and participating in anonymous public forums such as those found on the internet. That said and understanding that there are those who seem to utilize anonymity to vent frustrations related to their life issues which they seem to not be able to address in more mature and socially acceptable manners ..... manners being a key word here. Anyway, in a nutshell, there are those who will utilize this media to assuage their frustrations - I would rather have them targeting transference related objects of their frustrations with vile words rather than targeting their frustrations through the scope of a high-powered rifle. In other words, such individuals will always find a means to self-medicate their issues and it's best to just let them rant in silence, pity them and not feed into their issues - They just might really need to use an internet forum to keep their demons at bay!
